HER cold brew coffee concentrate - Single Origin - Campos Santos, Columbia. 

We concentrate what inside as much as how HER look outside.  Each corp that goes into HER cold brew coffee concentrate sourced directly from micro farms, mainly from Columbia.  For instance, HER latest coffee beans, Campos Santos, came from Huila region and available only 240 kg.  The farm owner, Aurora Salinas, was left the farm due to her husband disappeared in the international conflicts in Columbia.  She employs mainly women to work across all areas of coffee production alongside her family and neighbours.  Thanks to our best partner in crime The Roasting Shed who help us ethically source the best coffee available.  And we're so chuffed to be working with people who cares as much as you do.  Campos Santos was received a very impressive high score in SCAA cupping of 86.  You will taste a well balance coffee and very sweet notes of toffee, carmel and cacao with a hint of lime.  It's only 240kg available so get your hands on HER before it's gone.  However, we can assure you to expect nothing less on the new single origin

Coming Up For HER

HER is coming to a store (hopefully) near you. 

We are very pleased to announce that Harvest N16, Hackney Fresh and Grains and Green will all be stocking HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate by the end of next week!

To kick things off we will be sampling at:

- Grains and Green on Saturday 20th between 5pm-7pm.

- Palm 2, Lower Clapton on Saturday 25th time TBC

- Spring Market at The Deli Downstairs, Victoria Park Village, 12pm -4pm

HER at Altered Reality, new exhibition at Lethaby Gallery, Central Saint Martins

First, HER founder, has been invited to showcase HER work using coffee as HER medium.  First believe that coffee has been involved in most people lives quite significantly whether we noticed it or not.  Some couldn't start their day without it.  However, we don't really question much about coffee and its impacts culturally, economically and environmentally.   Through the cold brew process, visitor will observe an unusual and very slow way of brewing coffee to see what involved and what is its by product.  Where are we in the process?  Only consumers? How we deal with the waste after we consumed?  Or shall we just leave it to the system or whoever in charge?  

First aims that this live installation would provoke visitors to consider our daily consumption, not only coffee, and how it impacts us and how could we do to improve.

Ultimate Pick Me Up Porridge with HER by Mucho

Here is how to rustle up a great start to the day with HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate courtesy of our friends Mucho

 

Ingredients

40g rolled oats

1 tablespoon Pecan Nuts

2 tablespoon coconut flakes

Optional: Qnola sprinkle

Pinch of sea salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

100 ml HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate

110ml Almond milk

1 teaspoon honey

Put the oats in a small saucepan and dry-toast on a low heat until they’re slightly golden. Mix cinnamon whilst dry-toasting to enhance the flavour.

Add the salt, milk, coffee, honey. Turn the heat to medium-high and let the porridge come to a boil.

Coffee Pork Tacos made with HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate - by Mucho

Here is how to make some great glazed pork tacos with HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate - courtesy of our friends at Mucho.

Ingredients

  • 2 Sweetcorn Hob
  • 10 sprigs Coriander
  • 2 Tortilla wrap
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1/2 Red onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 10g Ginger
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Feta Cheese
  • 2 pinches Sea salt
  • 2 pinches Ground pepper
  • 2 tsp White sugar
  • 240g Pork Belly
  • HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate (4tbsp)
    Preheat the oven to 200C, place the corn on a roasting tin with olive oil, salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Cook in the oven for 35 minutes turning every 10 minutes.

    Hi everyone, 

    we would love to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for loving HER both cafe and cold brew coffee concentrate!  Thank you for enjoying our coffees.  Thank you for being so warm to us. We are very chuffed.  

    This year, we celebrated HER 5th Birthday and we're very much looking forward to the next year to come.  At HER, we keep it true to ourselves, as always, on everything we do.  We are a part of community. We serve local. Therefore, we will carry on working with locals, includes our roaster, bakers and suppliers, wherever we can.  Space for artists is still available and free and will always be.   Yet we are also a (small) part of the UK coffee industry. Thus we'd like to keep ourselves being innovative and forward thinking, which resulted in HER cold brew coffee concentrate

    Next year, there will be so many exciting things that we have been planing for both cafe and HER Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate.   We cannot wait!
